When you make a purchase from our website, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, and payment information.

This information is used to process your requests, deliver our products to you and improve our services.  We do not sell this information.  We also do not distribute any of your information collected except to those third-parties listed herein who help us run and manage our website.

NOTICE OF USE OF COOKIES/THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Cookies are used on this website to collect data.  Cookies are an industry standard and commonly used by websites and mobile apps.  A cookie is a small text file that our site through third-party affiliates may place on your computer or mobile device as a tool to remember your preferences.  Cookies get stored on a user’s/site visitor’s PC or mobile device that’s being sent by a web browser after the user visits (or lands) on a website that uses cookies.  Cookies can also enhance your experience on our website by allowing for remembered passwords, personal preferences, and other data so that each time you visit the site, the same information does not have to continually be re-entered.

In general, the third-party providers listed below used by Ulterior Couture are only to collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to provide the services they provide to us.  We recommend that you read their privacy policies so that you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

Our website is hosted by Flywheel and Google Analytics.  Flywheel and Google Analytics provide us with the on-line e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.  They provide marketing analytics for our online business.  They give us an in-depth look at the behavior of anyone who visits our site and buyer activity, and also provide us with tracking information Ulterior Couture needs to implement remarketing advertising campaigns.  Flywheel and Google Analytics services require the use of cookies and some amount of tracking activity.  For more information see “How Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps” at www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners or any other URL Google may provide from time to time.  Also please read the Flywheel privacy policy at https://getflywheel.com/legal/privacy-policy and the Google Analytics privacy document at www.google.com for more details about the use of cookies and data collected by Flywheel and Google Analytics.

Both Flywheel and Google Analytics help us measure how website visitors interact with website content.  As a website visitor navigates between web pages, Google Analytics provides website owners JavaScript tags (libraries) to record information about the page a user has seen, for example the URL (the address of a World Wide Web page, also known as IP address or link) of the page.  The Google Analytics JavaScript libraries use HTTP cookies to remember what a user has done on previous pages/interactions with the website.

Google Analytics supports three JavaScript libraries (tags) for measuring website usage:  gtag.js, analytics.js and ga.js.

This is a list of such cookies implemented by Google Analytics:

Cookie Name

Expiration Time

Description

_ga

2 years

Used to distinguish users.

_gid

24 hours

Used to distinguish users.

_gat

1 minute

Used to throttle request rate.  If Google Analytics is deployed via Google Tag Manager, this cookie will be named _dc-gtm_<property-id>.

AMP_TOKEN

30 seconds to 1 year

Contains a token that can be used to retrieve a Client ID from AMP Client ID service.  Other possible values indicate opt-out, inflight request or an error retrieving a Client ID from AMP Client ID service.

_gac_<property-id>

90 days

Contains campaign related information for the user.  If you have linked your Google Analytics and Google Ads accounts, Google Ads website conversion tags will read this cookie unless you opt-out.  Learn more at www.google.com

The ga.js JavaScript library uses first-party cookies to:

-Determine which domain to measure

-Distinguish unique users

-Throttle the request rate

-Remember the number and time of previous visits

-Determine the start and end of a session

-Remember the value of visitor-level custom variables

This is a list of such cookies implemented by Google Analytics:

Cookie Name

Default Expiration Time

Description

__utma

2 years from set/update

Used to distinguish users and sessions.  The cookie is created when the javascript library executes and no existing __utma cookies exists.  The cookie is updated every time data is sent to Google Analytics.

__utmt

10 minutes

Used to throttle request rate.

__utmb

30 mins from set/update

Used to determine new sessions/visits.  The cookie is created when the javascript library executes and no existing __utmb cookies exists.  The cookie is updates every time data is sent to Google Analytics.

__utmc

End of browser session

Not used in ga.js.  Set for interoperability with urchin.js.  Historically, this cookie operated in conjunction with the __utmb cookie to determine whether the user was in a new session/visit.

__utmz

6 months from set/update

Stores the traffic source or campaign that explains how the user reached your site.  The cookie is created when the javascript library executes and is updated every time data is sent to Google Analytics.

__utmv
